Product Portfolio – BlueCloud & Lovely & Vintage offer professional product styling & photography …

As per usual, my ‘quick’ visit to see Janet at Lovely and Vintage headquarters turned into a 2 hour long, creative brainstorming session and we hit upon the idea of collaborating on a brilliant new service to help others in the wedding trade.

Both of us realise that in this visual world in which we live in, having fabulous and professional photographs of your product is a must.  With visual social media sites such as Pinterest gaining momentum, and online selling becoming a vital part of any wedding business, the crafters and makers of this world cannot be without fantastic imagery to help promote their products and their business.  Therefore, we have decided to offer product portfolio sessions using Lovely and Vintage’s new HQ in Gosport.

Using Lovely and Vintage’s back room as our mini ‘studio’, we will be able to create beautiful and professional imagery for use on your website, social media, flyers/leaflets etc. Lovely and Vintage will provide a choice of props and background styling from their little treasure-trove of a shop, full of handmade delights and vintage finds, and BlueCloud will provide artistic direction and fabulous imagery.

We will be offering 30 min or 1 hour slots from just £30, to include the following:

  1. £50 per hour (25 images)
  2. £30 per 30 minutes (15 images)
  3. Choice of props
  4. Choice of backgrounds
  5. Up to 25 fully post-processed hi-res images suitable for screen based media and printing up to 4″ x 5″
  6. Larger/additional digital files can be purchased

For further information and dates, please contact either BlueCloud Photography at hello@bluecloudphotography.co.uk or Janet at lovelyandvintageevents@yahoo.co.uk.

If you’re unsure of what we mean, take a look at these photographs I took of the Lovely and Vintage while I was there.  Wouldn’t you like to be able to share photographs like these of your products?

Thanks for stopping by.  You can see more gorgeous photographs on our website at http://www.bluecloudphotography.co.uk.

It’s time for tea! A Styled Shoot with J’Adore La Maison in Hampshire

I can’t believe that I haven’t shared this amazing vintage tea party styled shoot before now (*holds wrist out for a short, sharp slap*).  Sorry!

J’Adore La Maison provided the venue, the beautiful pre-loved hand-painted furniture and a host of vintage accessories, Allison Daisy Chain showered us with the most beautiful crocheted loveliness, Scarlet Bakes provided us with their delicious cookie mixes and let us borrow their divine bone china tea sets, whilst Kelly from Creative Creations supplied the most beautiful cupcakes.  And yes … we did get to eat them at the end of the day!  Plus it just happened to be my birthday and I truly couldn’t have wished for a more enjoyable way to spend it.

The sun shone for us, the sky was blue and there wasn’t a single cloud all day.

Enjoy …

How delicate are these cupcakes?  Each one decorated to perfection by hand.  And tasty too!

Allison Daisy Chain’s gorgeous table runners, napkins and jar covers looked the part.

Not only did we have cute jars full of Scarlet Bakes delicious cookie mixes – but they made us some too …

We were joined by a variety of two and four legged animals ….

And then the children turned up to help eat up all the lovely cakes and cookies.  Clothing supplied by Little Legend.

Eggs needed collecting too … and how this young man didn’t break his, I don’t know!

Nothing cuter than children’s feet dangling from a tall chair …

Love and blue skies

Styled shoot with BlueCloud Photography and Lovely and Vintage Wedding Fayres

I really wanted to share BlueCloud’s most recent styled shoot with you all, so thought I would copy Bouquets and Blooms blog …. call me lazy if you want, but I just ran out of time to write another article.  I feel that it’s more important to share the images, so I didn’t think you’d mind if the words were practically the same!

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working on a styled shoot with the lovely Janet from Lovely and Vintage Wedding Fayres (check out L&V’s website here and their FB page here).

The historic and rustic Great Barn in Titchfield, Hampshire was the perfect location for our shoot, and as the venue for Janet’s up and coming wedding fayre at the end of July it made perfect sense to use it as our backdrop.

Dating back to the 15th century, the Great Barn now houses the Titchfield Festival Theatre, and later this year, it is to become a wedding venue.  You can check out more about the barn and theatre by visiting their facebook page here.

Many of Lovely and Vintage’s wedding suppliers were eager to take part in the shoot, so we had a fabulous range of gorgeous wedding products, services and accessories to shoot, including both fresh and faux wedding bouquets provided by Bouquets and Blooms.  And of course BlueCloud Photography (that’s me!), provided the rather beautiful photography. Enjoy ….

Oh my – gotta love a VW camper van!  I know I may be a little late to the party, but I would really love to have one of these sitting on my drive, waiting for us to just all pile in and head off on a road trip!

Although we all had a fabulous time at the shoot it was very hot.  And it heated right up when we had a ‘bit of bother’ with one of the spotlights and we had to call the fire brigade out just to be on the safe side.  Of course, this provided us girls with much excitement (I can’t be certain, but I think it may have had something to do with the uniforms …!)  and of course a couple of extra photo opportunities …

Can’t wait to do it all again, so watch this space.  You can find a list of participating suppliers below.

Burlesque Beauties – A Super Sassy Styled Photo Shoot in Hampshire

So, a while back, me and a group of scantily clad women got together at the amazing Grenville Hall in Droxford, deep in the heart of the Meon Valley, and rocked out the most amazing Burlesque shoot.

The Burlesque beauties, were from the dance troupe Miss Silk Seduction and her Lusty Lesquettes and came all the way from Bournemouth especially for the photo shoot.  The girls wore their own outfits and applied their own make-up, but the brilliant vintage hair styling was provided by the lovely Claire from Uptown Curls.

We all worked really hard, but we played hard too and had an absolutely brilliant day.  So if you are a Burlesque artist looking to build your portfolio, or would just love the experience of getting all dressed up, styled and treated to the BlueCloud experience, we’d LOVE to hear from you.

In the meantime, enjoy these images …

Grace & Daniel’s Meon Valley Wedding – A Beautiful Day in Hampshire

Hi folks!  Sorry it’s been rather quiet on the blog front but all that’s about to change as I am about to share some images from Grace & Daniel’s wonderful wedding day with you.

Remember our summer?  You know – that incredibly hot weekend back in August?  Well, instead of sunning ourselves on the beach & topping up our tans, Mark & I were privileged to be asked to shoot Grace & Daniel’s big day.  We had such a fabulous time; from the minute we arrived at the bride & groom’s respective houses to the lovely traditional church ceremony.  The fun continued at the reception (a beautifully decorated marquee in the pretty garden of the bride’s parents’), with great speeches & a romantic first dance.  Grace was such a beautiful bride & looked stunning in her dress, & Danny was every part the handsome groom, looking smart in his uniform.

To see ‘love’s young dream’  is a beautiful thing & it is evident that Grace & Daniel are truly, deeply, madly in love.  Family & friends travelled far & wide from places as far away Scotland & Australia to be a part of their special day & here are just a few of those images ….

I absolutely love this next image … it was totally unposed & yet despite the obvious distractions of the hose reel & satellite dish, looks so good.  And they were only trying to find some shade to cool down ….

We managed to take Grace & Daniel ‘away from it all’ for a few minutes to let them catch their breath & share a few tender moments together ….

The speeches were very funny yet filled with so much emotion …

And then, in front of their emotional guests, the day was completed with a romantic first dance ….

Grace & Daniel – we wish you a lifetime of health, wealth & happiness & a ton of love, laughter & fun ….  Thank you for letting us be part of your special day.

Forever blue skies.
